ADSIS Reading Coordinator:  
This is a .5 part-time position at Rush City High School (Grades 7-12). Must have ability to work with students with unique reading needs. This position is part of our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Requirements include a high school diploma. High School licensure in education is preferred. The Special Education Paraprofessional will facilitate student growth by assisting in the management of behavior and social interactions. The skills necessary include confidentiality, patience, good communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, and teamwork. Two-year degree, 60 college credits, or Para Pro Test; desire to work with students who have special needs.

Payroll/Human Resources Specialist
Rush City Schools is seeking a full time, 12-month Payroll/Human Resources Specialist. This position provides support and assistance to the Business Manager in the administration of the school districts payroll functions and related activities. Details of the primary duties are processing of payroll, data entries, payroll liabilities, and reporting. This position will assist with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, long term disability, TRA/PERA and 403(b) plans. The Payroll/HR Specialist will serve as a resource for staff while ensuring payroll actions and activities follow all applicable policies, state and federal laws or regulations, and labor agreements. Other duties of a similar nature may also be assigned. Candidates must have excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to fulfill Rush City Schools mission statement. Salary is based upon experience/qualifications. quatic Center Workers - Summer 2021
Lifeguards:
If you enjoy working with kids of all ages, this is the job for you! Shifts are 6.5 hours a day. Must be Red Cross Certified before able to lifeguard.

Water Safety Instructor:
We are currently hiring Water Safety Instructors to teach various levels of swimming lessons during June, July and August.

Concession Workers:
Must be 16 years of age or older. Duties consist of selling admissions, working concessions, supervising locker rooms and cleaning and sanitizing as needed.

Bus Driver
We offer a competitive salary, additional compensation for extra trips, and benefits to our drivers. We have two positions to fill starting in August 2021. Both positions are for an AM and PM route with an approximate total of 3 hours per day during the school year. Willingness to work as a team player and pick up extra trips is important. Valid MN or WI driver's license with clean driving record is necessary. CDL with school bus endorsement is preferred, but will train the ideal candidates. This is a full-time position at Rush City High School starting the 2021-2022 school year. Must have ability to work with students who have academic and/or emotional/behavioral disabilities and ability to work as a team with other adults. The ideal candidate for this position will facilitate student growth by assisting in the management of behavior and social interactions. The skills necessary include confidentiality, patience, good communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, and teamwork. Two-year degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro test; experience and ability to work with students; desire to work with students who have special needs; ability to follow and carry out the classroom teacher’s instructions; familiarity with computer use and good communication skills. Paraprofessional Substitute - Special Education
This position is for on-call opportunities to fill in as needed. Facilitate student growth by assisting in the management of behavior and social interactions. The skills necessary include confidentiality, patience, good communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, and teamwork. Two-year degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro test; experience and ability to work with students; desire to work with students who have special needs; ability to follow and carry out the classroom teacher’s instructions; familiarity with computer use and good communication skills. Substitute Teachers

We are currently seeking substitute teachers to have on call. A short-call substitute licensure is required and can be obtained through the Minnesota Department of Education. To obtain a short-call substitute license the candidate must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Minnesota candidates that have completed student teaching through a teacher preparation program, but do not yet have a bachelor’s degree awarded may apply for this license. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a candidate may evidence five years of work experience, an associate’s degree, OR a professional certification from an approved certifying organization that is directly aligned to a Career and Technical (CTE) or Career Pathways licensure field. Interested candidates who possess the short-call substitute license should complete the online application and upload cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and complete set of credentials.
