Title One Teacher
This is a .75 to 1.0 FTE position at CE Jacobson Elementary, depending on interest, availability, and qualifications. This position is not renewable for the following year and has an end date of June 7, 2022. Candidates must have the ability to work with small groups of students to provide interventions in reading and math, leadership qualities to supervise an instructional assistant, experience in progress monitoring students weekly, knowledge to input data and create spreadsheets, etc. with the data, willingness to work with classroom teachers to integrate learning, ability to work with a team of Title I assistants, communication to provide input to the Problem Solving Team, and other duties as assigned. Current Minnesota Elementary teaching license required along with a successful background check. Strong background in reading and mathematics foundations as well as assessment and supervision experience, and RTI / MTSS training preferred. The successful candidate will provide interventions in the primary grades but may extend to grades K-6 in reading and math. These positions will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision and coaching instruction for our high school athletic programs. Qualifications include ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, demonstrate professionalism, foster a positive environment, and have working knowledge of program regulations. Skills in managing individual, group, organizational interactions, program resolution and maintaining the safety and well-being of our student-athletes. Short Term Substitute - English Teacher
Rush City High School has a full-time short term substitute English Teacher position for grades 9th, 11th & 12th beginning October 4th, 2021 until November 16th, 2021. Rate of pay is $125 a day. Required qualifications include Bachelor's Degree OR Teacher License through the State of Minnesota OR Short Term Substitute License through the State of Minnesota. Homebound / Substitute Teacher
The Homebound Teacher provides instructional tutoring to students who are not able to attend school due to a variety of reasons. Teachers either go to the student's home if the student cannot leave home, or they meet with the student in a mutually agreed upon public location. Work variable hours as needed on student contact days - approximately 5-10 hours/week. Current MN teaching license is required, special education license is desired. Current pay is $25/hour. Homebound / Substitute Teacher Job Description

Special Education Paraprofessional - High School
This is a part-time position at Rush City High School to begin immediately. The hours are approximately 9:15am-2:15pm during student contact days. Must have ability to work with students who have academic and/or emotional/behavioral disabilities and ability to work as a team with other adults. The skills necessary include confidentiality, patience, good communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, and teamwork. Two-year degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro test; experience and ability to work with students; desire to work with students who have special needs; ability to follow and carry out the classroom teacher’s instructions; familiarity with computer use and good communication skills. This position is open until filled and will begin the start of the 2021-22 school year.

Food Service 
We are looking for the ideal candidate to join our kitchen staff. This position is at the high school, approximately 5 hours per day. Desire to work with students and staff in a positive atmosphere is necessary. Experience cooking, serving, and cleaning is preferred. Serv Safe certification, or ability to obtain in a timely manner, is required. Paraprofessional Substitute - Special Education

Substitute Teachers

We are currently seeking substitute teachers to have on call. A short-call substitute licensure is required and can be obtained through the Minnesota Department of Education. To obtain a short-call substitute license the candidate must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Minnesota candidates that have completed student teaching through a teacher preparation program, but do not yet have a bachelor’s degree awarded may apply for this license. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a candidate may evidence five years of work experience, an associate’s degree, OR a professional certification from an approved certifying organization that is directly aligned to a Career and Technical (CTE) or Career Pathways licensure field. Interested candidates who possess the short-call substitute license should complete the online application and upload cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and complete set of credentials. 

Substitute Drivers
BRING YOUR KIDS TO WORK! Provided space is available, drivers may bring their children on the bus. This is a great way to work in your community without needing childcare. Substitute drivers are needed for van and bus routes. Valid MN or WI driver's license with clean driving record is necessary. CDL with school bus and passenger endorsement is preferred for bus routes, but will train the ideal candidates. Must have, or obtain, DOT physical.
